Sign-up Bonuses

Card Issuers often offer incentives to attract new cardholders. The incentives run the gamut from 0% introductory APR and balance transfers (discussed in the next article) to rewards bonuses. Currently, we have cards in our inventory that offer from $50-$500+ worth of bonuses. Typically, sign-up bonuses are offered in the form of the rewards currency the card earns (points, cash back etc) and are triggered by transactions and spending levels within the first few months of card ownership. If sign-up bonuses are what you’re after, look at our favorite selections below for each type of reward. If you still have more questions, continue on to our discussion of interest rates and balance transfers.

Best Balance Transfer Bonus: Chase Slate

Slate℠ from Chase®
Slate℠ from Chase® is arguably the best balance transfer card on the market. It offers balance transfers with NO transaction fees and 0% on both the transfer and all new purchases for 15 months. The card carries no annual fee. Excellent credit is required though Chase offers lower credit versions of the card with different (but still good) balance transfer terms. We really like this card.
